Rome, Italy -› Palermo, Italy -› …
Beautiful Florence with it's wonderful buildings and streets that took your breath away, but the city is so fickle - I had a strange feeling of uneasiness in Florence, like all is not as it seemed there. Tourists cruise around in hordes, they are almost everywhere, but where there are no tourists, …

Amsterdam, Netherlands -› Rome, Italy -› …
Being branded as someone timid and conservative...travelling solo was something unexpected from myself. Perhaps, it was my moment to breakfree. It was time release my suppressed passion, inhibitions and face my own fears! Yes its time...its the beginning of something so beautiful and enlightening. This trip included brief visits to the Netherlands, Rome, Italy, French Riviera, Monaco, Barcelona and Madrid.

Florence, Italy -› Austria -› …
This was my first trip to Europe and it was great. I started out in London and then went to the Netherlands, Austria, Germany, Italy, Switzerland and France. Each country was amazing, from the canals in Italy to the Moulin Rouge in Paris. The people were great and the food was even better, although they do serve some unique sausage in Germany. I found the churches in Austria to be some of the most beautiful ones I've ever seen. They had pink and white marble and there was attention to detail.

So my class and I took a quick day trip to Florence. It was nice, but too short. Florence is full of people and full of color. The city is visible from the top of Michelangelo's Piazza. That's where our trip first began. We had a tour guide take us through the city.&nb…

We stopped in the cute little mountain top town of Orvieto on the way to Florence - it is where the Pope apparently used to hide out in times of trouble. Nice little stop.
So, my main goal in Florence was to see Michelangelo's David, because if I didn't, I don't think Mum would let me back into Au…
