This is where it all started

After finishing grad school, I took a month and a half to tour Europe, something I'd never done before. I'll try and just describe my most exciting moments in each country...

For my spring break i spent a few days in Italy....not enough time to see everything i wanted to but i still had a great time!

My last trip to italy was three years ago, when my brave mother organized a vacation in tuscany for herself, her two daughters, her sister, and her mother in order to celebrate grannie's 70th birthday. that's a lot of estrogen but it was grand. we rented a terrace apartment in the country, then drove around to san giminiagno, florence, sienna, barberino, and also rome. most important thing i learned for next time: florence needs to be experienced in the arms of a lover, not your grandma :-)

What a wonderful time! I just got back and I miss it already! The trip started in Roma, then down to the coastal city of Sorrento, Postiano, and Amalfi, then up to Firenze, and then to Sienna, and finally Venezia....where no matter who you are, you are bound to get lost! Filled with wonderful people, wonderful sites and of course the best food ever!

I went to Italy the summer of 2007, started in Firenze, then went to Rimini, San Marino, Venezia and last Pisa!

After backpacking Europe many other times, this trip was a quick 3 week jaunt around to some of my favorite places in Europe. I hit up Holland, Denmark, Florence, and Barcelona before friends and I met up to go to Morocco, which is another blog :)
