We spent 11 days on a tour through Italy. We started in Venice then we proceeded to Florence, Rome, Naples, Pompeii, Positano and ended in Milan. We were there at a great time too because of all the World Cup excitement.

My last trip to italy was three years ago, when my brave mother organized a vacation in tuscany for herself, her two daughters, her sister, and her mother in order to celebrate grannie's 70th birthday. that's a lot of estrogen but it was grand. we rented a terrace apartment in the country, then drove around to san giminiagno, florence, sienna, barberino, and also rome. most important thing i learned for next time: florence needs to be experienced in the arms of a lover, not your grandma :-)
