We started in Genova, travelled through places like Levanto, Florence, Pisa, Lucca, Rome, Capri, Pompeii, Naples, Venice, Verona and ended in Torino! Dont have all my photos though, which is a shame.

I LOVE FLORENCE!! I wish we could stay here longer!!!  Our B&B is amazing and we have a great view of the straw market and the campanile.   I fell in love with it as soon as we walked into our room.  Florence is just beautiful!!!  Did the Uffizi, Accademia (David took my breath away as soon as I turned the corner and saw him), Duomo, and a great meal.  Wine was okay.  Where's the barbera!!!  Sadly, no Fabrizios caught our hats in the piazzas ;...

I flew easyjet to Pisa from Luton (2 hours flight) and took a car from Pisa to Florence. Its one highway all the way and takes about an hour - easy journey. I could have taken a direct flight to Florence from Gatwick with Meridianna but Luton is closer to my home so this was easier for me. Either way both are good routes. If you want some adventure then you can fly direct to Milan or Rome and take the train to Florence. Florence is an unbelievably beautiful city. A walking city which is easy...

Back in Florence i visited the Uffizi museum. This is a life remembering experience! Do not miss it! It's worth waiting for or ... as i did, buying a ticket for in advance! You will not regrett seeing al paintings, statues, and.... beautifull views on the Arno and ponte veccio!

Florence is another one of Italy's must see cities. It is so beautiful, with so much history and culture. After secure our room in a quaint family owned bed and breakfeast, we directly went to check out the Duomo. It was massive, on a totally different scale than the rest of the city. The exterior wall were so intricate, if you thought about how they built it so long ago it would toatlly blow your mind. Italy was everything that I hoped for ... beautiful, romantic, rich in history, and had the best food and wine that I've ever tasted. Every town had its own character and beauty. I came to love bread, mozarella, olive oil, and sundried tomatoes ... and vino of course!
