Florence= Love Reviews

Florence,wow.. It's hard to describe this fun and social city in Italy. You can start out early and walk through the streets and move through the flee markets and get some great deals on leather goods (which it is popular for) by bargaining with the street venders. There is also a variety of really cool stuff you can get at these street markets like jewelry, scarves, sunglasses, souveniors, you name it! Obviously, I am a huge shopper, I could go on for hours talking about all the cool stores in Florence there are to go to. I think it's fun walking around during the day, the people are very friendly and there's lots going on around you.
Sight seeing wise:
* Uffizi- an art gallery, if youre into that kinda stuff.
* Galleria della Accademia - you can find the famous David sculpture by Michangelo--it's like a symbol of Florence
* Duomo - another must see.. its a church--very beautiful
Thats enough site-seeing tho..Now, foooood!!! Well, your'e in Italy, and if you are an Italian lover, like myself, obviously you know the food is about to be bomb. You can't go wrong, ask locals for advice and they'll tell you. And desert. Umm.. Gelato. That's all im going to say. The best ice cream I have ever had.
Night life--- yayayayay!!! There are pub crawls at night all the time..well at least there was when I went during the summer months. One night we went to this club called "Central Park" it was a beautiful, chic outdoor club, with electro/house music (my personal fav kind of music to dance to :)))) Lots of Italian men though, at times they got kinda creepy. And please, please, please watch your stuff for pick pocketers. Gypsies are plentiful!! Oh, and this one club called "Space", yeah it sucked.
Basically, I loved Florence, it really is a gorgeous city. It's really got that old Italian villa-type feeling, if you know what I mean. But seriously, if you go to Italy, go there! No matter what you are into, shopping, food,wine, site-seeing, they've got it all!
