Worth a quick look if in the area Jul 15, 2016
Also known as the Tulip Library, the Floral Library is located near the Tidal Basin, along Constitution Avenue. Not really a library, but it is a garden.

The Floral Library dated back to 1969, as part of Lady Bird Johnson’s Capital Beautification Project. Now maintained by the National Park Service.

There are displays of different types of tulips and others planted in smaller garden sets. They bloom from April to October, and look very colorful. Really nice to look at, to see the variety of tulips and colors throughout the Floral Library.

Definitely worth checking out if in the area, like when walking around the Tidal Basin. But not worth going out of your way to just see this alone.

I guess that is why it is also called the Floral Library. Not sure which one is the official name.
