Flight 93 Jul 01, 2008
The Flight 93 National Memorial marks the spot where United Flight 93 crashed on September 11, 2001. Nestled in the hills of Pennsylvania, the final resting spot of the passengers and crew is eerily quiet. The only noise to be heard is the sound of the wind ripping through the flags at the temporary memorial site. The site of the actual plane crash is not located on the spot of the temporary memorial. Instead if you look out from the memorial you will see a line of trees; the plane crashed in front of the trees. Many visitors have left behind various memorabilia at the site of the temporary memorial in remembrance and in honor of those who lost their lives.

Visiting the Flight 93 National Memorial is an eerie reminder of what happened that day.
