Flensburg Overview

The germans say its in the cool north. And its true. Flensburg is situated in the north of the German state Schleswig-Holstein, on the German-Danish border. After Westerland on Sylt it is Germany's northernmost town. Flensburg lies at the innermost tip of the Flensburg Fjord, an inlet of the Baltic Sea. Flensburg's eastern shore is part of the Angeln peninsula.

After Kiel and Lübeck it is the third largest town in Schleswig-Holstein.

So if ur not quite shure if u want to visit germany, just take a plane to copenhagen, get a rental car and drive just across the boread morearder to flensburg. If you like it stay and if not the boarder is close.
