Mark and I spent our summer holiday of 2006 in Mauritius. I'd been with Mum and Dad when I was about 13, so I didn't really remember it. We were there over Mark's birthday and the Beau Rivage Hotel was great - staff sent chocolates to our room and we had a fantastic coffee birthday cake during a meal at the Indouchine Restaurant. Most of the time we stayed in the hotel and relaxed, although yes, we were smack back in the middle of an anti-cyclone! Some days it was blazing sunshin…

Over the past couple of years I have travelled a lot and I have taken many pictures from all over the world. As I do not have time to write blogs I decided to post a selected range of pictures here. up-date will be done not regurarly but from time to time. Please note some pictures have not the best quality as older (1997 - 2000)ones are basically scanned negatives. Should I mixed up any place or so please let me know. A trip to Mauritius to get married!

An island of picture perfect beaches, lush green gorges and Wonderful people. 2 weeks were spent during "winter" at an all inclusive resort in Cap Malheureux. Ok it rained for 5 of the 15 days, but it was winter!. The beaches are clean and in many areas very quiet, although we did find it hard to drag ourselfs away from the beach opposite the hotel (Coin De mire), which had nice snorkelling not too far offshore. All areas of the island are visitable for day trips and its worth exploring.
