Great view from the Bastion Jun 07, 2013
The Fishermen's Bastion is located in Budapest on the Buda bank of the river Danube. The Bastion was built in the last part of the nineteen century.

You can reach the bastion to walk/climb to the top of the hill, but you can also take the kind of train. The base station is of this train is located at the end of the Chain bridge and this one will bring you for a few florint to the top of the hill at the Fishermen's Bastion. From the Bastion you will have a great view over the city Budapest. You can see the other main attractions from the viewpoint; the chain bridge, the Parlament building, the city centre, and so on.

The Bastion itself consist of a terrace in the neo-Gothic and neo-Romanesque style with seven towers at the end of the terrace.

The place to pose Oct 14, 2008
This place could have been designed with holiday photos in mind. You can have a lot of fun setting up shots from all sorts of odd angles, but be prepared to have a lot of strangers in the shots unless you are prepared to go out of season and/or at a quiet time of day.
