Firuz Agha Mosque May 27, 2017
Between Sultan Ahmet Square and Divanyolu, next to the tram line, there is Firuz Agha Mosque. It is one of the oldest mosques in Istanbul and an important Ottoman building, built in 1491. On the first sight it looks like many other little mosques in the city.

The fact that makes this mosque specially interesting is its minaret on the left hand- side, contrary to other mosques with single minaret. It is free to visit like all other mosques in the city, open mostly during the praying time or after it.
