Bedbugs! Jul 16, 2008
There were bedbugs!!! Only reason we stayed the night was because it was already 1am by the time we discovered the bedbugs! The hotel is really old and the bathroom was so old and dirty! Worst experience ever from my many travels! read entire review at TravelPost.com

In Bangkok we wanted to try another hotel than ' Four sons' so we went to 'Happy House', located in the same street as our first hotel. Luckily they had a spare room for us. We checked in and rested a bit in the room. I was the first to leave the room… Back in BKK

We got a call early in the morning & it was from the lady who helped us get the hotel. She stated that her office made the mistake & the first hotel was the one that we were suppose to be staying at. She stated that she was going to straighten everything out. She stated that she left her phone at the office… What A Birthday

Our first hotel (Centre Point, Sukhmvit) was awesome - cheers to the Police Association for that! our 2nd hotel is not so flash - but it has a wicked pool to cool off in. This is the view from our balcony at centre point - the view from our current… Bangkok

So we touch down about an hour later than expected in Bangkok's gleaming new airport, where I get my first attempt at bartering with the locals. Taxi stand quote me an intial 1000 baht to get to my hotel (near the Grand Palace). Obviously I say it should be nearer 300. Am then told I have the best driver and the best car in the place… Arrival in Thailand
