Oh my god. Went here on my band trip, yes I'm a nerdy mcnerd over here! It was too die for, there's an overly large selection of veggies, sauces, meats, seafood, vegetarian alternatives, EVERYTHING YOU COULD IMAGINE. There's no limit and I believe it only costs 20 dollars. You can go back as much as you like. And you'll go back a lot. It took about 20 minutes to get fried, which you get to watch the cooks do it, but that's probably due to the fact that there were 3 schools in that resturant that night, each having atleast 60 students in their party. Other than the more than slow waiting time, I don't think it's jumping the gun to say that this is my favorite restruant in the USA.

May 23, 2006Fire and Ice is a self described "improvisational grill". It is very different from most restaurants. They have a huge "Food bar" with everything you can imagine: noodles, meats, seafood, vegetables, etc. to make the perfect stirfry. You grab a bowl and put whatever you want in your meal. There is a "sauce bar" with at least 20 different distinct sauces that you put in a cup. In the middle of the restaurant, there is a huge grill with a bunch of quirky chefs. You wait in line and hand them your bowl of food to be cooked on this massive grill and you keep the sauce until they are ready to put it on. Once your food is well-cooked, the chefs put it on a plate and hand it to you, and you walk back to your table and enjoy your own personalized meal that you created! It might sound a little confusing on here, but once you are there it all makes sense and is a TON of fun. The whole restaurant is on the second floor of a building just a few blocks from Copley Plaza. The restaurant is filled with vibrant colors and unique architecture, with loud music blaring in the background. I love this restaurant because you eat exactly what you want, with all the ingredients/sauces you like. It is $15 per person, but you get to make as many plates of food as you want, so it is a GREAT deal for any big eaters.
