I love natural history museums. I love them. Anything with lots of animals, bones, and - oh yeah, DINOSAURS - I'm all about. Fortunately for me, the Finnish Museum of Natural History has it all.Unfortunately for you, it's closed until autumn of 2007. They're rennovating, which is good news, because it means by next year the museum will be even cooler than it already is. At

4.20 euros for adults (and discounts for just about every group under the sun - 2.00 euros for students? it's amazing!), it's an outright steal. If you like looking at dinosaur skeletons up close, you have to go. The museum is relatively small, which means you can walk right up to these things and touch them (but they'd rather you didn't). There are moose, bats, deer, just about every Finnish animal you can think of preserved in their skeletal beauty for all to see. Great museum.I was thoroughly satisfied with my visit to the Finnish Museum of Natural History. If you find yourself in Helsinki and you like to look at bones (who doesn't?), then you have to go. Come on, 2.00 euros? You'd be foolish not to.
