My overnight to the ranch was the highlight here in Copan. Carlos is fluent in English so it was very interesting to learn about the history of the ranch, coffee and cardamon production. The horses were in good condition and the ranch beautiful. Great meals too and a nice guesthouse. Would have liked to have stayed 2 nights.

First of all it's not expensive just not cheap (well compared to Europe CHEAP)
It's a lovely trip to a farm in the mountains of west Honduras, close to Copan. You book a day or one or two nights at the office opposite ViaVia hotel. They show you the farm and the cardamon and coffe plantations and it is absolutly stunning. Horsebackriding and hotsprings is on the schedule also. And if you stay the night (highly recommended) the guesthouse is a lovely place. I went on a daytrip but I liked it so much I came back and stayed overnight.
