Never leave the Philippines without trying any of the foods that are uniquely Filipino. The country has been colonized by the Spaniards, Americans and Japanese for so many years. They have left indebible marks in every aspect of Filipino society. But no matter what, Philippines has its own identity even when it comes to food.

Below is the list of foods that you may want to try before leaving the beautiful Philippines.

1. Balut
2. Bibingka
3. Puto Bumbong
4. Vigan Empanada
5. Halo-Halo and Leche Flan
6. Isaw, Betamax and Adidas
7. Lumpiang Ubod
8. Bananacue and Camotecue
9. Pansit (bihon, canton, malabon, palabok and lublub)
10.Kwek-kwek
11.Dinuguan and puto
12.Fishballs, squidballs and kikiam
13.Piyaya

As much as I would like to describe each of them for all of you, I think it would be best for you to discover all of them by yourself(what they taste and look like). Enjoy the Filipino food-tripping!
