I had the pleasure of spending 4 weeks in Morocco for a study abroad program through my College. The majority of time I spent in Rabat with a host family. We did get to go on a number of excursions which included Fez, Marrakesh, Tangiers,and Chefchaouen. The trip was quite the experience as we were taking a class on class, gender and culture in Morocco. We also learned Arabic and a bit of the national vernacular.

Going back in Medieval TimesOur tour begins in the city of Fez. It is the world's best example of a living medieval city. We visit Fez Jdid (New Fez) which was planned by the Mernids in the 13th century (just thought I would throw in a bit of history for you..;-) which included the Royal Palace and Gardens.
