Phewa lake is one of the things that make Pokhara such a beautiful and relaxed city. There is a path along the lake that is great for walking especially at sunset.

Although the water is not very clean I've seen quite some people swim in it. It seems not very accepted for women to swim here, but taking a boat to a more out of sight part of the lake might solve that.

If you want to do it a little bit different than the rest of the tourists, instead of renting a rowboat, rent a little sailboat. Of course there needs to be a bit of wind, but its a lot of fun and not much more expensive.

Beautiful scenery and boating May 04, 2011
Fewa lake is the most beautiful lake in beautiful city of Pokhara. Located on the west side of pokhara it is main attraction spot for the tourist. Island temple located in the middle of lake is pretty amazing too. Boating experience is amazing too.

Due to the pollution size of lake is decreasing every day and is in the risk of extinction. So please make sure you don't throw any waste.
