Great location supports not that great food Jan 31, 2016
S37°33.482' E149°45.488’ this Lonely Planet top choice restaurant is a floating building in Middle Boat Harbour, between fishing boats. During our visit in December 2015, we fled inside, escaping the scorching summer temperatures of 42° Celsius. Downstairs you can buy fresh seafood, including prawns and crayfish.

We chose the local grilled gem fish fillet with garden salad, chat potatoes and creamy citrus sauce AUS$23. The gem fish tasted like steamed fish, but was actually grilled. Because it is a white fish, the citrus sauce had to emphasise this not very special fish of the day. Garden salad was very good.

Service was very good, location perfect and the price as expected. Nevertheless, if this restaurant is a Lonely Planet top spot of Lakes Entrance, what about the rest? Recommended.
