- Directions: Pelegrini Tours is to the right of the Post Office. It is a tiny shop. You CANNOT buy the ticket at/on the boat, it has to be done in the office, and I don't think they take cc's but there are ATMs a-plenty in Hvar Town.

Ferry to Split from Hvar Town Reviews

There are 3 different companies that run ferries from Hvar Town to Split. They range in price from 22 Kuna to 110 Kuna. I believe it was as follows, a 6:30am ferry run by Jadrolinija for 22 Kuna, a 8:10am ferry tickets sold by Pelegrini Travel agency (right next to the post office), a 1:30pm ferry by Jadrolinija for 38 Kuna, and a ferry run by a hotel for 110 Kuna and i believe it was early evening. I've taken the ferry run by Pelegrini, HOWEVER...they are just an outlet for whoever owns the boat so they are given something like 18 tickets (seriously) to sell the day before, and whatever tickets the other store somewhere (didn't really inderstand it all) is doesn't sell the morning of the ferry Pelegrini is then allowed to sell the rest. So if at all possible buy your ticket the day before, and don't wait until the evening to to it (as happened with us they only had 1 ticket left to sell the day before about 10 minutes to closing), we were told to come back in the morning at 7:30 to try to get some, there was a line! We got our tickets but were stressed out all night about it. They may however run more ferries during peak months end of July/August.
