Fenix Hotel Guadalajara (Jalisco)

We’ve just returned from Guadalajara and stayed at the Fenix Hotel. Upon our arrival everything seemed to fine until not 1 but 4 of us had some personal items stolen from out hotel rooms. It is incredible that someone is capable of looking through our luggage and stealing from us. My assumption is that it was housekeeping also maintenance. When we spoke to the hotel concierge, they said they would look into who entered our rooms when this happened. They did absolutely nothing. We were then told to speak with the general manager and he did nothing about the situation. It’s as if they really didn’t care and they really don’t. This will continue if nothing is done and from the looks of it these individuals will continue working there and stealing from hotel guests. If you’re looking for a good hotel, look elsewhere. The Fenix hotel was a nightmare.
