Fengshun Vacation Guide

Fengshun (Chinese: 丰顺) is a county situated in south-eastern Guangdong Province, China. Some 90% of the people in Fengshun speak Hakka dialect, while the rest hold Chaoshan dialect. Fengshun used to be governed by Chaozhou City, and has become a prefecture of Meizhou City(Chinese: 梅州) since 1988. Fengshun is the southern most county in Meizhou, adjoining Jieyang City, Shantou City to the south, and Chaozhou City to the east. These three cities are largely populated by people who speak quite a different dialect (Chaoshan) and who consider themselves a different ethnic group from Hakka.
