stay away, bad service Dec 21, 2009
It would have been a good resort however, people weren't really helpful and I felt too bad that there is a resort like this in Davao where you meet not-so-good people.

Nothing violent tho, thankfully. It's just that those in charge with the rooms and the ones in charge with the restaurant are not in good terms. We kept on reminding the lobby that there are changes in our food choices (we had an event here) but then they kept telling us it's not their business but the restaurant people. Gee, is this the same resort we're talking about? At least they could have relayed the message.

And when we asked the restaurant people to contact the 'hotel people' for us, they weren't helpful either.

Later we found out that it is a family-run business and my guess would be, they are not in good terms that time (this was a year ago).

Anyway, at least, their rooms are big and warm to be, that's a good thing.

Their swimming pool, however looks dirty and some areas have moss on them. Too bad, the pool was big and even had a slide in it.

It's a pity that the resort has not been developed well and service is bot good. It is also far from the city proper since it is in Matina and will be a 20-minute ride from the city center, more with traffic.

It's a pity such resorts are still operational or run by inadequate people. Thanks for sharing :)
