Fazanovo Vacation Guide
Fazanovo is a small village off about 10 miles off the Black Sea coast. The nearest known town/village is Lozenets.
It is sittuated on one of the nearby mountains, and the drive to there is breathaking and peaceful. The village itself has approximately 60 residence, out of which only about 10 stay year round as the winters are very harsh and difficult in those areas.
The village has one bar and one grocery store, which are opened only certain days and hours. Milk is bought from the nearby farmers, as well as vegetables and eggs. Gypsies spend the summers in a house in the center of the village as they work in the forest gathering wood, herbs, and mushrooms.
A good size of the population during the summer is artists, musicians, and actors. One artist bough most of the land over 30 years ago and sold it to his friends from college, and many more followed. So the summers are fully of wild parties, explorations in the forest, and beach parties. The only thing you have to do is find these people once you arrive, befriend them, and you will have the most memorable trip ever!
