Fast Track

The beauty of chicago is the variety of the hole in the wall hot dog joints that dot the landscape. While walking around the loop after mourning the death of michael jackson (I almost cried) I stumpled upon a massive statue of a chicago style hot dog, so I had to come in. The actual place is small, and just has bar stools to eat on, but also has a large outdoor area. There are many statues of hot dogs to enjoy while waiting in line.

However the reason to come is the food: They have your basic chicago fair, you know the hot dog, polish sausaguge, burgers, chicken and beef. What differentes this place is the variety of sides. The sweet potatoe fries are to die for, and are thick cut which is something I don't often see. Also try the onion rings and fried shrooms.

So if your in the loop, and need some refreshment hit up the fast track.
