Good, Fast, Inexpensive and it has A/C!!! Mar 13, 2009
This is a great little place across the Ping River from the old town where local Thai's and farang who have lived in Chiang Mai for a while eat.....especially if you are a farang who has the urge for a good cheeseburger and fries or a steak sandwich with fries for 35/THB! The Thai food is also delicious. Especially the chicken with cashew! The restaurant and kitchen are very clean. (No, I didn't do a "white glove test"...you can see into their kitchen through the glass wall dividing it from the restaurant.) Their menu is quite extensive, the service is good and fast, most of the staff speak some English, they have booths with comfortable padding (you don't have to sit on the little plastic stools you find at some restaurants here). You just never know who you will run into when you visit Fast Food. Even the former Thai PM has been a customer! Try it! I think you will enjoy it...and maybe you will see me there!
