Farah Guesthouse Amsterdam
Farah Guesthouse Amsterdam Reviews
Not recommended unless you are a midget pirate Jan 05, 2009
Our stay at the Farah Guesthouse was very bad. There was no reception desk, so we had to wait on the street and ring the doorbell until someone appeared to let us in. Our 'double' room was infact an old bathroom, with tiles up the walls and on the floors. There was a sink parked in the middle of the room too. The bed was two single mattresses on the tiled floor which was very cold. There was one shower/toilet in the building which was on floor 2(?) of 4 floors of rooms (it was difficult to tell how many levels there were!) which is not enough to service all the guests in the building and was frequently in use and soaking wet. The stairs were the circular style that were very narrow, steep and dangerous. Every noise (and smell) from other guests could be heard thru the thin walls -yeap, eveything.... The Guesthouse whilst in the cheaper price range was a rip-off for what it offered. Please note that the photos are NOT an accurate reflection of the guesthouse.
