Wonderful place. Definitely worth the stay.

Just beware of the curfew and plan your nights accordingly, so you don't get locked out after 11:30pm. (They are very punctual with time! We were late by 2 minutes one time and they had already locked the doors.) If you do plan on checking out the city, they do give you a key, but make sure you let them know ahead of time.

Free breakfast is delicious, and customer service is excellent. The rooms are a tad small, but still pretty comfortable and come with free green tea and basic bath toiletries, such as face towel, body towel, bathrobe (yukata), shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, toothbrush, and a razor.

There is a TV with plenty of Japanese stations to pass the time, as well.

If you dont have the time to visit an onsen or sento while in Japan, make sure to try out the Japanese-style family bathroom right in the ryokan. Any of the guests are welcome to try it out.

If you are looking to check out traditional Tokyo, the geisha district is right behind the hustle and bustle of Sensouji Temple and Nakamise Dori (which is only 2 minutes away). Ueno is also just one stop away.

If you would like to venture beyond this area, the Asakusa station is only a 5 minute walk away.

Next time I come to Japan, I will definitely stay here again.
