Good regional speciality restaurant Jan 18, 2015
S41°7.973' W71°18.236' the outside is impressive Bavarian and this theme continues supper-visually inside. Waiters wear traditional Bavarian clothing, but beers are served in bottles and the menu offers good-value regional Argentinian specialties such as venison, trout and goulash. The picture menu is in English.

As starter in December 2014, we ordered a big platter familia Weiss: smoked: cheese, venison, wild boar, salmon, venison and salmon pâté, rolls of venison or wild boar. It was delicious with an excellent glass of Trapiche Alaris Malbec red wine.

Our main course was venison goulash with Hungarian gnocchi. It was nice, but lacked the typical venison taste. It could have been prepaid from cow meat. We finished with nice chocolate ice.

Our eye felt on a man standing still next to the staircase in a black suit with white shirt and tie. Sometime he took the bench under the staircase. He was not a security officer but the manager of the restaurant. Not interfering or managing payments, just observing clients with complete confidence in the abilities of his staff. Unique way of running this special restaurant.

Nice, Homey and Lovely! Jul 22, 2012
Dined here in Apr 2010.

A recommendation comes from my Argentinean colleague who loves Bariloche. On top, the hostel also recommended it. It was very Homey and Friendly - the best smile in town and it is free. There were only a waiter and a waitress serving the whole place the whole time.

The food is excellent! The salad names Summer Holiday was quite a treat. I am not good with Spanish, I went back to eat the same salad again the second day. It is with Strawberry, Avocado (so good and just right), Tangerine Orange, Chili Tomatoes, Lettuce at the bottom and covered with shredded carrot and plum sources. Oh...it was refreshing!

They are good at steak, venison, lamb and trout.
