Falls Incline Railway Niagara Falls Reviews
Rails above Niagara Falls Aug 17, 2005
The Falls Incline Railway is a funicular at Table Rock Centre right at Horseshoe Falls. The funicular links Table Rock Centre with the Fallsview Tourist Area about 170 feet above.
The Falls Incline Railway is operated by Niagara Parks and was opened in 1966. It was not the first funicular at the falls. There have been at least six other incline railways in operation at one time or another. The incline railway is a ride in itself, offering a panormaic view of the falls. It's also transporation, linking parking and hotels above with the Welcome Centre below in Queen Victoria Park. I rode it just for the fun of riding it!
The fare is CDN$2.50. Included with the Niagara Parks Adventure Pass or Transportation Voucher.
