Colorado 14ers - Mt. Sherman

Alma, Colorado, USA -› Blue River, Colorado, USA -› ...

Supposedly the easiest of the 14ers. It was pretty damn easy. You can drive a reasonable dirt road pretty high up the mountain, then hike through the remains of an elaborate mine claim. The last bit of the ridge up to the summit is pretty exciting, it's narrow and exposed, but it stays class 2, so it isn't actually dangerous, unless you really suck. I climbed Sherman with MJ, her first 14er. On with the pics.
