Luxury in the Mountains. Aug 10, 2008
On a recent trip to the beautiful Canadian Rockies, I decided to stay at the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge.
This hotel is situated a couple of km's outside the town of Jasper, therefore giving it a bit of a secluded feeling. I like hotels which are a bit out of town as it gives you some space to get away from it all. Check in was fast and very effective. One has the option of either booking a regular room or a cabin style room. The cabins are situated all over the property with different cabins giving you different views. Finding parking was not difficult at all, as the lodge has ample parking. The room that I selected was very clean, and had all the amenities that one could expect from a five star resort. Room Service was very efficient, and the servers were some of the friendliest I have ever met. Overall, I have no complaints about the JPL, and would definately encourage anyone looking to pamper themselves to give JPL a try. If you have any other questions, please let me know. |
