Fairfield Inn by Marriott - Reviews - Port Clinton

We chose to stay here as opposed to a hotel near the Jet Express dock simply due to price. Prices have inflated so much around the Port Clinton area, it’s a bit ridiculous. Any way to save a bit was necessary. There is a shuttle to and from this hotel as long as the ferry is running.

The hotel was very clean with large rooms. We had one of the suite-sized rooms because there were 5 adults. We had two double beds and a pull-out couch. All were quite comfortable (but after a night of drinking, I think ANYTHING would have been comfortable.) The bathroom and room were very clean, as were the linens.

There was a shopping center right beside the hotel, but with very few stores. There is a glowing indoor putt-putt place.

If you are looking for an affordable and very nice place to stay in the Port Clinton area, this is an excellent choice. Just remember that it is on Catawba Island rather than actually in downtown Port Clinton, but the shuttle is pretty accommodating.
