Fairfield Inn Suites by Marriott, Chicago Mag Mile
Fairfield Inn Suites by Marriott, Chicago Mag Mile Reviews
Dec 26, 2007The hotel is definitely located on the right spot of downtown. It is just a block off the Magnificent Mile on East Ontario. It is close the shops, restaurants, Navy Pier, and tons of other attractions. The hotel, however, is built on an old building, like many buildings in Chicago. There is no central air, just a split unit. I am not too crazy about window or split units because they tend to be pretty loud at night. Besides, the wall seems too thin. I was using the bathroom one time and I swear I could hear somebody using the next door bathroom. The good side was that everything in the room is clean and smells good. I mean, there is no old smell or something like that. The bed is great and the hotel offers free hot breakfast. By the way, I always try to get a hotel with breakfast if I can help it. It really affects my morning when I get ready to explore the city/place. ☺ Another good side is that the hotel has a small internet corner where a PC and printer are available for guests to check emails, browse around, or print something for free.
