Wonderful artwork for everyone to enjoy! Feb 01, 2007
In the mid 1990's citizens trying to get a little more attention to their nice little community at the bottom of the hill from Sequoia National Park came up with a plan to put historic murals around the small downtown area where art galleries, antique stores and nice little shops were. Now just a few years later there are 28 murals within this area. It's a nice stroll around wonderful little town and almost all of the murals contain hidden treasures placed there by the artists. Camouflaged or hidden objects just begging to be found. It’s a great couple of hours you will enjoy just taking in the friendly atmosphere and beautiful murals. Just try not to visit during the heat of summer when the temperatures are frequently above the 100 mark.
