Excalibur Hotel Las Vegas Reviews
Excalibur Sep 12, 2009
Well for a 3 star hotel it cleaned up well.
Before they remodeled some of the rooms I stayed at the regular ones and those were lame. Very boring and not cozy. But when the upgraded rooms were complete I've stayed in those and what a difference. Its only an extra $20 per night but so worth it. Super comfy bed, flat screen tv, everything's new and clean. No worse then any 4 star hotel. So if you're on a budget, stay here instead of those roach motels off the strip, its inexpensive but great. The casino is kinda run down but I never gamble there anyway, just go to the Luxor next door or NYNY. |

Affordable hotel on the Strip Apr 20, 2009
We had a nice stay at the Excalibur Hotel in Vegas. It's one of the oldest hotels on the Strip but everything is clean and the rooms are very spacious, especially when your used to European hotelrooms. We had a double room, with two single beds but it were actually two double beds. The bathroom was also very spacious. One thing that wasn't ok was that a room of two members of our group wasn't cleaned when we checked in. But the hotel immediately gave them another room. Breakfast was ok. We were not used to the American breakfast but there was a lot of choice. The location of the hotel is ok but not perfect. But because the hotel isn't very expensive, especially not compared to other hotels in Vegas, i would definately recommend the hotel.

Excalibur Hotel needs help May 17, 2008
The Excalibur Hotel in Las Vagas Neveda needs help.
The check in policies are not the same for each day. We went to check in on Tuesday at 10:30am and were told that we couldn't do so. They left us standing there in line along with at least 15 other people and no one even bothered to tell us they would not open the counter until 11am. When we went and asked a person at the check out counter they had an attitude [a nasty one] with us. Then when we checked out Friday at 10am the check in line was open and busy. The evelvators to the 18th thru the 28th floor were not working properly. At one point only one of the three worked and it took 10 minutes to get it to the 27th floor. Security for the hotelrooms is also lacking. They are suppost tocheck to make sure that the people going to the elevators to the hotel rooms have a room key. In the four days and three nights that we stayed there [and the many times we weent to our room for something] they only asked to see our roomkey twice. As well as the fact that my door key did not work correctly. There was also no non key lock on the inside to keep you safe while you are in your room that the other hotelsthat I have stayed at have. And there wasn't any kind of safe in our room. The decore needs major upgrading. The things my friends and I liked were: The restaurants were nice and the food good. The show we saw there was excelant. Thunder Down Under was GREAT!!!!!!! The hotel's location was right on the strip with access to various entertainment and attractions. |

Fun, stay at Excalibur in Vegas Apr 14, 2008
I had way too much fun here! The place is shaped like a castle! I'm not gonna lie, i think getting around it was a little confusing tower I vs tower II, the pool...I couldnt get anywhere if i was alone but then again i might have had that problem in any hotel..

Viva Tacky Vegas Nov 13, 2007
Let's face it. Vegas is all about tack. Tack-tack-tacky. And surely we all come to Vegas to embrace it in all its tackiness? We did and we weren't disappointed with Excalibur. Its revolting Castle theme is just brilliant given the context. I mean, where else in the world would this make sense?? The rooms were fine, the pool was fine, it was all fine. The great thing about this place is that it is cheap and central to everything. It links to MGM with a walkway so it's just a hop and a skip to more tackiness and good times.

When we finally got situated in the hotel (excalibur) we wore our little feet off for 9 days-battling oppressive summer desert heat, porn pamphlet toting pimps, stretch limos, people packed street corners, flashing whirling casino machines cranking out noise to make up for the lack of coin they routinely return to their… Viva...yeah you know the rest |
