Everything!! Travel Reviews

Preferable time of the year is early summer, when it is not too crowded and infested with tourists. Here is just a short list: The entire coast, from the Arena in Pula, then the beach in Baska (is. Krk), Zadar Sea Organs (the instruments, not the body parts!), Plitvicka Jezera (Lakes in lika - national park), National Park Kornati (a collection of about 300 little islands - called Gods jewels), Old city core of Dubrovnik. Inland wise i would recommend Zagreb - daytime for sightseeing the city, nighttime for touring the clubs - excellent night life as long as you hook up with some students

Hi there ! I'm not from Croatia but I just spent a whole month there and it was fantastic. A place that I fell in love with is the tiny tiny island of Korcula. You should really check it out.

Paklencia National Park is great too. Pretty amazing scenery there =)

Have fun,
Crystal

ok...I mostly agree with zec13, except for the Zadar Sea Organs (compared to all the other stuff to see it would be a waste of time)and I'd have to add Istra. Take a day or two to tour small inland towns, like Motovun, Roč, Višnjan, Grožnjan...I spent quite some time tiourin Croatia as an architecture student, so I guess you can take my word for it: it's spectacular. Of corse,Dubrovnik, Split, Trogir, Zadar...a must. If you're into architecture, also Pula and Poreč, both of which are specific types of ancient roman cities.
If you want to know more, feel free to ask :)
