Evergreen Hotel Hong Kong

An amazing little hotel with a fantastic location for travellers, putting you right where you want to be with plenty of ways to get about.


-Location-

Situated just off of Nathan Road, the central road of Kowloon, you litterally walk outside and BAM! theres your little market for food and bits, then around the corner you'll find the main road with plenty of mainstream shops.

The markets [Goldfish, Bird, Ladies, Electronics and Flower] are all accessible with no more than a 20 minute walk, as is the harbour.

-Transport-

It takes about 40 minutes from Hong Kong airport to reach the hotel via city flyer [Bus]. Nice 'n easy! As for transport around the city and islands, there is an extremely easy to use Metro Station about 5 minutes walk from the hotel, a never ending line of taxi's and of course the ferry.


-Inside the Evergreen-

Not fantastic to look at from the outside, but inside the hotel is quite posh for its price, very clean and the staff are some of the friendliest/most helpful i have ever encountered. They always have a smile on their face and greet you warmly. Seems like a nice place to work! The rooms are small, but its to be expected in Hong Kong, but very clean and well...no complaints here!

There's a TV, bath and shower [showers in the bath so its a tad cramped but nothing to complain about].


-Food-

The hotel has a breakfast package you can opt for. Never saw much on this before i went, so i'll note it down. Breakfast is a choice of what you want, with cornflakes, toast, noodles, rice, jelly, beans and abit of ham and cooked meat available. Orange juice, tea and coffee ect. It did its job well and kept me full til lunchtime.


-Summary-

All in all, great little place. You could do alot worse and if i ever return to Hong Kong [Which i hope i do!] i will certainly be staying here again.
