A week based in Naples on the Gulf of Mexico.

This time I went with my older brother to the East Coast of the USA. We travelled from New York City till Washington DC, and from Orlando till Miami!

These are pictures from my recent class trip to the Everglades. I am currently enrolled in Ecosystems of Florida and we went to look at the diverse ecosystems found in south Florida. We tent camped in the park. I highly reccomend visiting the Everglades if you are ever in south Florida.

One week cruise through western caribbean on the largest cruise ship in the world! The Royal Caribbean Freedom of the Seas. Cruisin through Cozumel, Grand Cayman, Jamaica and Labadee. Sail on!

I drove back to the Gulf side of the state.  I had never seen an alligator in "real life" before, only in captivity.  So my mission was to see at least one alligator!  Which, finally I did. :)

Staying there for three weeks in St. Petersburg to be close to a friend who was studying in Tampa. Made some nice trips and got to experience a little bit of campus life.

A fun Road Trip around Southern Florida to cure the winter blues. Started in Tampa and went down the Gulf coast all the way to Miami, and then Continued all the way down to Key West. We then Headed back up the Atlantic Coast until we hit Cape Canaveral and then headed back to Tampa to catch the flight home. It was blast!!!!! We just went where ever and didn't even have reservations ANYWHERE and just winged it. It was the time of my life!!

So, after our adventures at the alligator farm we decided we wanted to visit more dangerous animals. We had heard about a rescue centre called the Everglades outpost, a shelter that takes in a wide variety of native and not so native abandoned animals. We gave a ten dollar donation each a…
