Superb Hostel, affordable too Oct 09, 2012
I love this place,

Excellent location, a hundred metres from Haupabahnhof station

Its in the main area, many supermarkets around the place,

very clean toilets, although far from the rooms,

good staff, fellow travellers, so many restaurants outside the

hostel. The problem was that they did not allow people to book for more than 3 days at a strech.. dont know why..!!

The restaurant is lovely and lively,, have to catch a place if there is a Football match.. its gets quite full especially if Bayern Munich is playing.

No complementary breakfast...!!

Overall I liked it.. and would definitely recommend it

Euro Youth Hostel Jun 01, 2010
It's a very nice hostel in Munich and not far from the Main train station. It's cheap in relation to other good hostels nearby. The bar is cool, especially because people from other hostels get inside of it. This hostel is also a starting point of a free walking tour.

The best hostel in Munich! Mar 27, 2009
I give a 100% review to this hostel! This is probably the best hostel I have ever stayed in. I don't even know where to start on my review!

First of all the price, it is so cheap! I was there in March 2008 (low season) and it was only 10 euro a night for a 12 bed dorm. Probably around 15 euro a night during high season but for Europe, that is still dirt cheap! This 10 euro also included a FREE all you can eat breakfast buffet.

The rooms were great, you could tell they were just renovating but they were very clean and the beds very comfy. Underneath each bed is a locker to keep your stuff and each bed also has a small shelf to keep things that you need frequently without having to go into your bag and your own little reading light not to disturb others while they are sleeping.

Also in the hostel, and this is very important to me, was a bar! Happy hour from 6pm-9pm and 1/2L beers are only 2 euro and cocktails for 3,50 euro.

There is also internet which is 1 euro for half hour, tv's in the common room that show the news and sports games etc, and free tea whenever you want. If you check-in or check-out early there is free luggage storage and they also have laundry facilities.

The bathrooms were extremely clean and the showers amazing with excellent pressure and hot all the time.

I seriously have nothing bad to say about this place! I was here for 3 days and enjoyed my time here alot. The staff are very friendly and I got chatting to a few of them at the bar and had some drinks with them. They are glad to help at any time and have lots of information and tourist brochures/flyers on hand.

The location is also superb, a 2 minute walk from the main train station and about 8 minutes to Marienplatz and to the Hofbrahaus.

If you go to Munich, YOU MUST STAY HERE!

Euro Youth Hostel is a really cool Hostel in a central location in Munich, Germany. Located maybe 250m from the main train station, and less than a Km from Marienplatz, you have all the facilities you could possibly need. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. My mates and I stayed in a double with two extra matresses neatly put on the floor. There is a bar in the downstairs, right off of the lobby that has wicked night life and cheap pints. Although I was only there for one night, I would rate this hostel up there as one of the best I've stayed in.

I spent a night there in my first visit to Munich. 2 months ago. The atmosphere was great... the bar, the bier, the staff and the guests were great. I even wanted to stay longer but the place was over booked... I rate it with 5 stars... for the quality of fun one gets there.
