We drove in late last night making it unfortanate because we were not able to see the views we knew were waiting for us.  Eureka Springs is in the heart of the Ozark Mountains and we were inticipating some excellent scenary.  Of course visiting in February is the off season which was great, that leaves out messing with all the other tourists around.  However, that also leaves out a lot of activities that don't open up until March.  But we still had a great time. &nbs...

Up fairly early today, and down to a fabulous breakfast. Plenty of hot fresh food with the exception of eggs and sausages. Plenty of biscuits and gravy, french toast, waffles, as well as cold or hot cereals and juices. We took our time but ate well and enjoyed it. Then we went and finished packing and checked out. One of my most favorite places to travel to for a road trip. I've been coming here for over 30 years. It is sacred ground to me. Not only is the town beautiful, but the whole surrounding area has lakes, streams, caves and cliffs. Lot's of back roads to wander on.
