Etretat Vacation Guide
Etretat is best known for its cliffs, including a famous natural arch. Two of the three famous arches seen from the town are the Porte d'Aval, and the Porte d'Amont. The Manneporte is the third which cannot be seen from the town. It is a fairly small city with only approx 1600 in habitants. The most spectacular is the alabaster cliffs and their arches, tunnels and the solitary "needle" will doubtless be familiar from tourist brochures.

walk along the cliffs on a perfect (and not-too-crowded) early spring day. Most
famous for its natur…
