Etoile Suites Beirut

As I am not usually in the habit of staying in 5* accomodations in my usual adventures, this was quite an exception. Etoile Suites is in a fantastic location downtown with views of the new mosque and the newly built downtown area. You are convenient to all of the downtown's cafe culture and great restaurant options as well.

The room was small but quite luxuriously appointed. The bed was very comfy, as was the pillow. The bedding was the expected 5* luxury as well. The bath was large with dowble sink and full bathtub. There is a little kitchenette with sink fridge and kettle.

The service was exceptional on all fronts execpt for one person who not only didn't give us our wake up call but also lied about it when confronting us about it in front of the front desk manager. This was quite expected that we (the guest) should be confronted at all. Other than this person, everyone else was extremely attentive and friendly. Breakfast is a nice extended continental that is delivered to your room at a time of your choice....nice. There is a lovely restaurant on the roof with fantastic views all the way to the Mediteranean.

If your budget allows, this is such a nice way to spend your downtime in Beirut.
