The Ethiopian restaurant is something different in Sanaa. Quite traditionally Ethiopian is the wat which consists of injera bread lining a large tray, topped with various meat, egg and vege dishes. Nice to get a taste of everything. The meal is served with more of the soft flavourful (slightly sour) injera.

Ethiopian food was a new experience and it was very tasty ... spicy without being hot … somewhat like mild Malay or Indian food. Unfortunately it was rather pricey by Yemeni standards.
