After living in Belgium for 2months, realising that i would not be able to find work as i had once hoped i would, i sent emails to every UK embassy in Europe to apply for a working holiday visa, of the three positive replies, i chose Tallin Estonia!

Visiting all the port cities of the baltic was a chance of a lifetime. Eating Swedish meatballs served by attractive waitresses, trying reindeer in helsinki, cruising through the canals in st. petersburg, all of it was a time i'll never forget. surprisingly, tallinn, estonia, was one of the most amazing cities i've been to because of the beauty of both the land and the people.

I spent 2 days in Tallinn and I think this is a perfect destination for a weekend break. The city center albeit small is very pretty, covered with a free wifi so you can connect everywhere, all the buildings have been renovated, there's plenty of caffes, restaurants etc...and people do speak Englis…

My first visit to Europe, Summer 2003, and studying at the Helsinki School of Economics in Mikkeli, Finland. We traveled around Finland, crossed waters to Estonia, hopped on a train to Russia and a cruise to Sweden.

Very beautiful country

Here are some random snaps from when I was in the baltic countries summer 2007. I took the boat over from Helsinki. I spent I just realised I was there that long ago haha I thought I went there like a year ago !!! It says Latvia travel photos but all the photos are mixed up from Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia and Finland.

It was love at first sight with Tallinn.

While visiting one of my best friends, who live in Finland, we took a one-day trip to Tallinn in Estonia. We had a great day, beautiful weather and many great experiences. Unfortunately my friend Milla was unlucky enough to loose her wallet to some person with "sticky fingers". Tallinn is definitly worth a visit and we had a really great day! (and Finland is not so bad either!)
