Hours spent on the road to see the Monarch butterfly, which when we finally arrived, was asleep, all of them dozing on trees and mountain sides waiting for the sun to come out!  It had snowed the night before and it was too cold for them to fly.  What was great was we were followed up the road to the butterflies by some Mexians in a car behind us, they stopped to take photos of the snow because they had never seen it before :)  we had been told that when they do ...

My trip to Mexico, Guatemala and Belize in 2004! Started in Mexico City, ended in Playa del Carmen.

I visited Mexico in the summer of 2005. I flew into Oaxaca, almost drowned in Zipolite, traveled through Chiapas, to Villahermosa, and Veracruz. I loved Mexico! A place in the evening where people drink Coca-Cola, eat ice cream, and make-out!
