Actually this is not a travel blog because I'm going to tell how my hometown looks like. If you're coming to Sao Bernardo you will find a big city that looks like a smaller town, not that country side ones of course. Sao Bernardo is 20 minutes driving from Sao Paulo downtown and 30 minutes driving from the beaches, like Santos. Don't hesitate to contact me if you're looking for tips and advise. Sao Paulo is the biggest city in Brazil, it doesn't need any introduction else. This is a big city lcoated in SE Brazil, 30 minutes driving from the beaches like Santos and Praia Grande. The best beaches are farther, you can get there driving more 30 minutes. There are so many interesting things to do and see in this big city. A lot of museums, shopping malls, pubs, restaurants, night clubs, etc. You need at least 5 days to travel through Sampa! Have fun! Cheers, Andre

Well, here is my last day in Brazil. It feels like home after spending 6 months here.  I´ve had the going away parties, said most of my good byes and have packed my bags. The only thing left to do now is hop on the bus to Ciudad del Este, Paraguay... tomorrow.  That's right, tomorrow, I begin the most exiting journey of my life. Brazil is amazing! The weather is always warm, the beaches are beutiful, samba is awesome, Carnaval rules, the parties last all night,...

So excluding airfare to and from the north, i've set aside roughly R$7000 for the trip (according to my most recent calculations); somewhere between US$3k-4k, toward the lower end of the spectrum.given that i'm going to be travelling during the high season, new years in a party town, and carnival at a party, the question is of course: will dave's money last? i might end up finding that i need to pick up a job on the road. if i'm lucky, maybe i'll run into some rich tourists going somwehre coo...
