I will start this off with a brief preface: I enjoyed Acapulco, the trip was great, the company amazing, and the swim up bar was a yummy treat.  Americans in Acapulco have to be careful a little more careful than you would be in most other places in Mexico.  It is rated high on the list of kidnappings and people going missing in the night.  With that being said, Chaves was hired by the hotel to be my shadow and I was not detoured from going out and exploring every inch of groun...

This trip was So Beautiful. I hate to Fly, but It was certainly well worth it. The views, Sunsets,Restraunts,Markets, and swimming in the ocean that was so warm was just breath taking. I really have to give it to my little brother he sure knows how to pick the vacation spots. Definatly a thumbs up.

Hell of a day...Annoying at best I woke up first thing, wide awake at 630am. Ready to get a head start and head to the bus station to head down to Lazaro Cardenas(6.5 hour ride). But the sun wasnt out yet. I'm not going anywhere in the dark here. So back to bed. got back up at 730am. Packed up, headed out. I walk to the bus station, wait a while... Then I ask in spanish where the bus is to the main station. He says across the street. Then I wait there for 20 mins. Then I ask a bus driver. He ...

Mazatlan, Shit Hole of the Riviera.

Mazatlan is a rather industrialized city considering it's regarded as a major tourist destination.  The beaches here are mediocre, and the cruise ship dock is located in the same area as the cargo containers in addition to being three to four miles from town.  I do not recommend any travel here from the states when options such as Cabo exist.

Marquelia, Guerrero

Well, when my aunt told me I was going to Marquelia, I was thought that we were going to some boring cheap place. We got on the tour bus and the bus driver drove for 8 hours straight without stopping at a gas station. We finally got to our destination, and when I woke up, i was like "WOW!" The most beautiful place I've ever been to. The beach was clean, the hotel was clean and it had air conditioner. The beach and the resort are not private but we had it all to ourselves since not a lot of pe...

Hola! Happy Father's Day!!!We got back from the road-trip on Friday and Scott came down with a cough. It's not bad during the day, but it keeps him up at night. We went for a sail on Sunday the 8th and then on Monday the 9th we began experiencing a fun little something called Montezuma's Revenge. (Bri's done her research online and it looks like it was amoebic dysentery.) It hasn't been pretty. Not sure if we've gone into great detail about the layout of our apartment, but it's a studio ...

SPENT 7 DAYS IN THE MEXCIAN RIVIERA. HAD THE BEST TIME IN CABO SAN LUCAS, MAZATLAN, AND ACAPULCO. BEAUTIFUL BEACHES, GREAT SNORKELING, WHALE WATCHING, LOTS OF SHOPPING AND SIGHT SEEING "OFF THE BEATEN PATH":) FOOD AND ICE CARVINGS ON A CRUISE SHIP ARE EXQUISITE. HOWEVER, THOUGH CRUISING IS FUN, ONCE YOU'VE DONE IT, WHY DO IT AGAIN? THE ROOMS, EVEN WTIH THEIR WINDOWS AND BALCONIES, ARE STILL TOO TINY FOR ME TO ENJOY. HOWEVER, HAVING SAID THAT, I THINK A TRIP TO ALASKA W/FRIENDS IS IN THE WORKS
