New day, new destination...today its going up to the mountains, Palenque is our final! On the way there we more and more came into jungle and forest, everything was green and beautiful looking, exactly like i rememberd mexico from my first stay! Originally, the plan was a little different. I had heard about something called the Pan-American Highway that extended in one way or another from Canada all the way down through Panama. There was about 60 miles of jungle and then the Pan-American Highway (South) would pick back up in Colombia and just head south to either Chile or Argentina, I forget which one. BUS JOURNEYWell I was dreading this after our last one but it turned out not so bad. Basically slept the whole way, waking up 3 times. The first time I woke up was when the bus driver carried out an emergency stop to avoid a massive fallen boulder bloacking the road. The second time was another emergency stop, this one to avoid a crashed car which was totally written off!
