I took a cruise with my company. It was a memorable experience. We left from Long Beach, CA and made stops at Catalina Island & Ensenada, Mexico.

From San Diego my friend and myself rode the trolley from downtown to the Mexican border. At the border we got a taxi to take us to downtown Tijuana where we dined at a restaurant on La Revolucion Boulevard. Surprising I ate salsa and had a burrito but did not get sick after I got back home. This was just a quick trip and we were there just long enough to have lunch and do a bit of shopping.

My wonderful friend Heidi, suprised her Boyfriend with a 4 day cruise out of Longbeach, CA.The cruises are mad cheap and a great way to plan a quick trip with friends. Friends came from all over the US. Drinks are cheap, meals are free and you have the choice to get off at ports.Basically, the short cruises are crazy 4 day booze cruises...!Pretty view though and a water slide. What more do u need?

We found out about this event from David and were we glad he told us. Victor, Roy, Laurie and I met up with David and his friend Jack at the Tijuana border so we could caravan to Ensenada. It was saturday night and we all new it was going to be off the hook. Thousand upon thousands of people crowding the streets and beer stands all over the place. I dont think they have fire codes in Mexico cause there were too many people in the streets! ¡Gracias México!

Every year I spend my spring break in Tijuana building houses for families in need and ever year I realize more and more how important it is for all of us to do whatever we can to give back to people around the world. It has really impacted me in so many ways, all of which I wish I could share with you however, that would take away from the mystery of going on the trip yourself. Yes, there are many things that can be done here in my own back y…

Rosarito Beach is a little resort town on the Baja peninsula. It ended up being nicer than I expected. The town is definitely set up to cater to tourist from the states and the spring break crowd. Horses and ATVs on the beach and a bunch of mega beach bars and resorts line the sands rather than houses. We took a bus down there...which was a nice break after braving the windy little roads of Costa Rica the weekend before. We stayed at the Brasis de…
