Esquinica (La) Barcelona Reviews

Tapas, tapas, tapas!! What more could you ask for? It is one of the best tapas restaurants in Barce! The staff is more than a little crazy, but that is part of the charm! They are reason enough to journey via the blue line to eat here. In fact, if they like you, you may even receive two or three suckers instead of one:) That, and a discounted meal:)
My friend from Barcelona introduced us to this restaurant, and we became quick friends! I've eaten here several times, and each time, the experience is phenomenal. It is a local hangout, and it is family owned, so expect a wait on Fridays and Saturdays:)
I was introduced to a Catalonian favorite: Wine and Coke (Calimocho) and Wine and Sprite or Lemonade(Rebujito or Tinto con Limon or Tinto de Verano)... my friend from Barce loves it. I'm partial to wine and coke, but you should try both:) Try the Patatas Bravas, Bomba, Pescadito Frito, Navajas, Sepia, and the Fried Mussels. I loved everything I tried. If you don't know what to order, ask the waiter for advice.. If you are ever in Barcelona, this is one place you do not want to miss!!!
